You know the first few days I was fine then I started to sober up
And that’s when the flood of mem’ries came till it filled my drinkin’ cup
It was then and there I said I swear that I’d never think of you again
And as the sayin’ goes, “You’re better off not knowin”, while I killed another sloe gin fizz
