Hi
Someone asked for 'You are my sunshine' I recall singing this in air raid
shelters during World War Two. Methinks it goes something like this:
E 4/4 You Are My Sunshine
E The other night dear as I lay sleeping
I dreamt I A held you in my arms
E When I A awoke dear
I was E mistaken
And so I hung my B head down and E cried
Chorus
E You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me A happy when skies are grey
E You'll never A know dear
How much I E love you
Please don"t take my B sunshine E away
I'll always love you and make you happy
If you will only say you'll stay
But if you leave me
To find another
You will regret it all someday
