This is a blues from the Blood on the Tracks album. I have no idea if
this is right, but I have fun with it. It would sound better if I could
finger pick, but I try to fake it, as follows:
In the first line of the introd. and in the first line of each verse, try
to hit the open B string right on the word "rain," then try to
hit it again, fretted as E7 (below) on the word "tears."
make E7 this way in the first line of introd. and 1st line each verse.
Make it the easy way in the 2nd line (i.e, from E, just lift ring finger
off D str).

Buckets of rain, buckets of tears
Got all them buckets comin' out of my ears
Buckets of moonbeamsÊ . . . in my hand
You've got all the love, honey baby I can stand.
I've been meek, and hard like an oak
I've seen pretty people disappear like smoke
friends will arrive, . . . friends will disappear
If you want me, honey baby I'll be here.
I like the smile on your fingertips
I like the way that you move your hips
I like the cool way . . . you look at me
Everything about you is bringin' me misery.
Little red wagon, little red bike
I ain't no monkey but I know what I like
I like the way . . . you love me strong and slow
Takin' you with me, honey baby when I go.
Life is sad, life is a bust
All you can do is do what you must
You do what you must do . . . and you do it well
I'll do it for you, honey baby can't you tell?
