Subject: A song to include

Mr.Vaughn,
My mother wrote a song for Kitty Wells in the early 60's called, This
White Circle and we were all so proud of her. She has been very sick lately
and after having been talked into getting on the net, nothing would please
me or my sisters more than for her to be able to see "Her" song on here
somewhere.
I know you are a busy man and that your site is probaly not where it
should be displayed. I mean all we have is the original text and probaly
not music,ie. chord positions, etc. Do you know of anywhere else we
can look?
I found Kitty Wells on your site, but Mom's was'nt listed and as well as
we can remember it went up to #3 on the Billboard charts. I found a listing
for the top 40 of the past decades, but it was only for Pop and Rock.
My sister's and I would appreciate any help you may be able to give us.

Thank you,
Chuck
Bainbridge CBainbr958@aol.com ------------------------------- Here's your Mom's song, Chuck. It just happens to be one of my favorite Kitty Wells songs, too. Thanks for a great song "Margie". Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. GOD BLESS! OLDTIMER Gene THIS WHITE CIRCLE Recorded by Kitty Wells Words and music by Margie Bainbridge and Dorothy Lewis CAPO: 1st FRET/KEY: G#/PLAY: G INTRO: Notes to last line of chorus. This White [G] Circle on my finger means we're [C] thru A reminder of my wasted years with [D] you I took [G] off my rings and placed them out of [C] sight But that [G] won't keep me from [D] missing you to-[G] night. CHORUS This White [D] Circle on my finger shows I'm [G] free I'm not [A] sure if that's the way I want to [D] be Loving [G] you might be a habit I can't [C] break What a [G] difference, this [D] small White Circle [G] makes. This White Circle will start fading with the time And I hope someday I'll have you off my mind One White Circle tells of two, who had to part And our love has left its mark upon my heart.
